The caustic calcined magnesia also called light calcined magnesite. It is a highly reactive form of magnesium oxide and manufactured by burning naturally occurring magnesium carbonate (magnesite) at temperatures between 800-1500 ° C. It appears as a white or yellow color and available in the powder form.
